1. Toadie and Nell meet JJ again
Toadie is furious after learning that Nell has once again gone behind his back by starting a secret relationship with JJ. Nell defends herself, insisting that she has done nothing wrong.
Toadie and Nell later sit down for a more productive chat about their dispute. Toadie worries that Nell will go down a dark path like her mother Sonya did at the same age, but she reassures him that she won’t make the same mistakes.
2. JJ makes his own confession
JJ tells his family that he is hiding his relationship with Nell.
Dex is visibly upset by the news, questioning why JJ couldn’t have been more forthcoming earlier.
3. Haz’s parents arrive
Byron finishes filming and editing the community video messages he plans to send to Haz’s parents to convince them to attend the wedding.
The thoughtful gesture doesn’t work, so Mackenzie reluctantly tells Haz that his mom and dad won’t be coming.
Fortunately, Sanjeev and Reena arrive later after all, admitting that they changed their minds at the last minute.
4. Felix overhears Wade’s revenge plan
Felix is ​​due to be released back into the community soon. Andrew is shocked to discover his brother’s newfound religious faith.
At the hospital, Felix wakes up from a deep sleep and hears part of a conversation Wade Fernsby is having on a burner phone. Wade mentions getting married and getting paid back, implying that he plans to focus on Haz and Mack’s big day.
5. Felix tells Andrew about Wade
Felix warns Andrew about Wade’s suspicious phone call. Andrew tries to question Wade, who doesn’t give a damn about his plans.
With so little evidence, Andrew’s only option is to organize a subtle police presence at the wedding. He decides not to tell Haz and Mack about the potential threat, not to worry about it.
6. Saying goodbye to Mack and Haz
Haz and Mackenzie’s wedding is a day of joy. Haz is overjoyed to be reunited with Sanjeev and Reena, and there’s also an emotional moment for the house gang as they contemplate the end of an era.
Despite Wade’s ominous call, the ceremony proceeds without incident. Say goodbye to Haz and Mack before they go to Paris together.
7. Terese has trouble coping
The wedding reception is difficult for Terese as she reflects on her failed marriage to Toadie.
Although Terese tries to avoid Toadie at the party, they keep crossing paths. In the end, it all becomes too much for Terese.
8. Felix discovers a sabotage plan
Once free, Felix continues to keep a close eye on the wedding to stay ahead of Wade’s plans. He is concerned when he sees a man he knows from prison lurking around Haz’s car.
Felix tells Andrew that the man, apparently acting on Wade’s instructions, may have destroyed the vehicle. Andrew goes to investigate, but by this point, someone has taken the car for a drive.
Haz and Mack are quickly ruled out as they leave in a separate rental vehicle, so who else could be driving?
9. A car accident is revealed
Andrew and Felix make several frantic phone calls to find out who took Haz’s car for a spontaneous drive. Cara gives an explanation and when the police find the car, it has already crashed.
Remi notes how committed Felix was to doing the right thing and asks if he has finally changed his ways. Cara is not so sure you can trust Felix.
10. Aaron makes an unexpected claim
Aaron has to call Nicolette for help when he can’t get Isla to sleep. Nicolette sees this as a breakthrough, hoping that Aaron is ready to forgive her over the list she kept of his recent mistakes.
Unfortunately, Aaron is already regretting his decision to stick with Nicolette, lest the door be opened for her to keep coming back.
Leo warns Aaron to be careful when it comes to Nicolette, pointing out that his legal position over Isla is fragile. Aaron accepts this and surprises Nicolette by suggesting that he could legally adopt Isla.
11. Vera finds out the truth over the wedding
Vera gets dressed up for the wedding, only to find out that it happened the day before. She soon realizes that Byron gave her the wrong date on purpose to keep her away.
Vera vows to get revenge on Byron, but he tries to win her back by arranging for Nicolette to put her name on the lease. Krista is unhappy about this, and privately resents Nicolette’s mess around the house.
12. Nicolette stands up to Jane
Nicolette tells Aaron that she will need time to consider his application to adopt Isla. Aaron reacts badly to this, seeing it as even more evidence that she plans to use her legal position against him in the future.
Jane praises Nicolette for not making life easier for herself by agreeing to Aaron’s request. This goes down badly with Nicolette, who questions why her mother can’t take her side.
13. Nicolette faces more setbacks
Nicolette finally relents and promises Aaron that she will not be able to accept his plans to adopt Isla. However, she wrongly assumes that this is a green light for her to move back into Jane’s house.
Aaron makes it clear that although they have made progress, it will still be a long journey before he can trust her.
14. Wendy is caught out by Byron
Andrew decides to meet Wendy while she attends a meditation class. Sadie spies on her parents to see how they are doing after their recent tension and is happy to learn that things are going well.
Later, however, Wendy is seen receiving several mysterious phone calls. Byron then sees Wendy hugging Quinn, despite her promises to stay away from him. Are there still difficulties in Wendy and Andrew’s marriage?
15. Paul and Krista meet again
Paul and Krista disagree about theme choices for a charity fundraiser at Lassiters. Remembering Terese’s advice that Paul respects people who stand up for him, Krista boldly calls a male strip show. This is an option that Paul had already ruled out.
Paul is furious when he finds out what Krista has done, so he finds a way to blame her by giving Nicolette a job as manager at Harold’s.
